Quest Labs: A Transformative Group Coaching Experience

 

What is Quest Labs?

Developed through nearly a decade of academic life coaching with students from around the globe, Quest Labs offers a strengths-based approach to personal and academic growth. Designed for students, this unique framework helps participants cultivate habits of mind and practices for success within a supportive community setting.

Quest Labs is a 5-week action-research-based project designed to foster self-discovery, peer support, and collective learning. Participants engage in the Me-Search, We-Search, Re-Search framework, which combines self-reflection, group coaching, and collaborative development of academic support systems. Whether you're a BA, MA, or PhD student, this program will equip you with the tools to manage your focus, relationships, energy, and time, helping you succeed both academically and personally.

Me-Search, We-Search, Re-Search Framework:

  • Me-Search: Reflect on your learning and personal goals using tools like emotional intelligence inventories and self-coaching techniques.

  • We-Search: Build deeper relationships and foster peer support through structured group discussions and coaching sessions.

  • Re-Search: Contribute to the development of new academic and personal growth models by sharing insights and patterns, helping create actionable plans for progress

What You'll Gain:

  • Work with a personalized Hero’s Guide and an Academic Planner (designed by BIPOC college students) to help forge new paths toward your purpose.

Meeting Schedule:

  • Three 90-minute In-Person Sessions

  • Two 75-minute Online Sessions: Small group discussions and peer coaching sessions to reinforce learning.

Each session follows a structured format: Opening → Activity → Check-In → Closing with Intentions. You’ll also engage in peer coaching, both in-person and online, guided by a certified Academic Life Coach, offering feedback and insights to enhance the experience.
