Good better best: academic planner

Through beta-testing and collaboration, a small team of BIPOC college students designed and created an Academic Planner to support students with healthy habits, time management and maintaining a balanced school-life balance.

Glow up quest

As part of Summit Academy’s advisory programming, Glow Up Quest included self-empowerment activities, introduction of social-emotional skills, personal management with engaging community events. Students competed for personal bests and progressed toward collective milestones together.

Metropolitan family services: Afterschool cafe

Using self-reflection, community building activities and emotional intelligence, the after-school program offered social-emotional activities and opportunities for personal development and relationship skills.

Implementation of this programming was awarded the 2016 ChangeMakers Award from Yale Center of Emotional Intelligence.
